This Habits of Mind workshop invites participants to learn about the Habits of Mind framework for cultivating an Academic Mindset through whole group conversations and interactive breakout sessions. The framework’s theoretical background and classroom applications will be briefly presented to establish the importance of the Habits for student success. The event also includes interactive breakout sessions for faculty, staff, and administrators to explore how these Habits can positively influence student learning in a variety of disciplines. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about how other practitioners in their field use Habits of Mind to improve student learning in their classrooms and areas.
