The Heart of Student Success   describes four key strategies to promote the strengthened classroom experiences that ultimately are requisite to both increased levels of college completion and deeper levels of learning.

The key strategies are:

  • Strengthen classroom engagement;
  • Integrate student support into learning experiences;
  • Expand professional development focused on engaging students; and
  • Focus institutional policies on creating the conditions for learning.
