On Friday, October 23, 2015, 18 representatives of 14 different colleges convened in the Teleconference Center at Cerritos College for a day devoted to discussion around new faculty orientation programs and practices. Participants learned about the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTX) at Cerritos, and were given time to work in groups to brainstorm issues, ideas, and next steps to promote a culture of professional learning on their campus.
